Job Title: Fabrication Specialist
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform fabrication and welding of steel parts in production and R&D settings, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to company standards.
- Design and construct new product prototypes, tooling, and fixtures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
- Contribute to process improvements for enhanced manufacturing performance, identifying areas for optimization and implementing effective solutions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving efforts, leveraging expertise to drive business growth.
- Adhere to company regulations and safety standards, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals, fostering a culture of open communication and mutual respect.
Physical Demands:
This role involves occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds, walking, climbing, and working with various tools and equipment. Extreme weather conditions may be encountered.
Education, Knowledge, Competencies & Skills Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Welding certificate, diploma, or degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in fabrication and welding.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and following verbal instructions.
- Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and collaborate with colleagues.
