Position Summary

The Senior Culinary Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of kitchen management, ensuring that meal preparation aligns with corporate standards and guidelines. This role is pivotal in maintaining the quality and safety of food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement regular and specialized menus following established protocols.
  • Provide training to kitchen personnel on food preparation techniques, safe handling practices, and equipment operation, adhering to both company and regulatory standards.
  • Establish and uphold cleaning and maintenance schedules for kitchen equipment and workspaces.
  • Manage inventory of food and non-food items, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines while guaranteeing product availability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations at all levels.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three to five years of progressive experience in culinary or kitchen management.
  • In-depth knowledge of food trends, quality standards, sanitation practices, and cost control measures.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Extensive experience in catering is advantageous.
  • Experience in high-volume food service operations is highly desirable.
  • ServSafe certification is preferred.
