At Addiction and Mental Health Services, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from various locations, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Pick up and drop off patients at designated locations, including airports and other transportation hubs.
  • Navigate through various weather conditions and unexpected circumstances, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
  • Transport patients to different locations based on program participation, clinical requirements, or medical necessity.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient transportation, vehicle inspections, and other relevant documentation.
  • Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with patients, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Practice de-escalation techniques as needed to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
  • Ensure all safety regulations are met, and the vehicle is equipped with the required safety kit.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams regarding patient updates and other relevant information.
  • Complete regular trainings and assessments as assigned to maintain and improve skills.
Requirements:
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record for at least the past 3 years.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of driving experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 25 years of age.
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to operate a smartphone to send mobile email updates.
  • Must be insurable on company vehicle liability insurance.
  • Ability to read and interpret written information.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high energy.
  • Flexibility with schedule, including availability to work on-call, nights, and weekends.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this job include:

  • Regularly sitting for long periods (5+ consecutive hours).
  • Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequently standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching.
