About Us:
We are a specialized memory care assisted living community focused on supporting individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Our intimate campus accommodates 55 residents, allowing us to provide personalized care throughout the different stages of the disease.
Compensation:
The starting pay for CNAs is $16 per hour, with higher rates available for those with additional qualifications such as MAT or CMA/ACMA certifications. Pay is negotiable based on experience, with preference given to candidates with prior memory care experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality resident services and perform various duties as assigned.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, housekeeping, laundry, and meal services.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Provide emotional and physical support to residents, ensuring their dignity and independence are upheld.
- Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate documentation as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be an active member of the OK Nurse Aide Registry.
- A minimum of one year of experience working with older adults as a personal care assistant is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED is required; additional education is a plus.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old, or older if required by state regulations.
- Experience with dementia care is preferred.
- Must meet continuing education requirements and maintain necessary certifications.
