Key Responsibilities
  • Shelve books and other materials in a neat and organized manner
  • Perform shelf reads to maintain accurate cataloging and classification
  • Assist with processing and preparing materials for circulation
  • Provide excellent customer service to patrons
Requirements
  • Must be 16 years of age, a current high school student, or hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift objects and supplies up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the library
