Overview

Are you looking to start a rewarding career in nursing? We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Personal Care Assistant in our assisted living neighborhood. Our beautiful community is located in a safe and welcoming environment, providing residents with a lifestyle that includes on-campus conveniences, services, and amenities such as casual and fine dining venues, beauty salons, fitness centers, security, healthcare, activity programs, and much more.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you will provide personal care in accordance with the residents' care plans, including assisting with basic hygiene and grooming needs. You will also provide medication administration and/or reminders in accordance with policies and procedures. Additionally, you will assist the Life Enrichment team members with activities and special events.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No experience required; we are willing to train you to be a great caregiver
  • Completion of the DHS 6-hour Direct Care training course (must be completed online within the first week of employment)
  • Completion of the DHS Medication Administration course (must be completed within the first 30 days of employment at the community)
  • CPR and first aid certified or willingness to become certified
