We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a travel assignment in San Angelo, Texas.
Job Summary:This is a 13-week contract position with a 36-hour workweek, requiring a strong background in respiratory care and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate patient needs and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients with complex medical and surgical conditions.
- Insert and remove endotracheal tubes as needed.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently.
- Promote continuous quality improvement and patient safety.
- Teach and counsel patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
- Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist with a strong background in critical care.
- Current CPR or BCLS certification.
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
