Job Title: Automation Tester Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester Specialist to join our team at Russell Tobin/Pride Global in Plano, TX. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for automation and a desire to contribute to the development of innovative software solutions.

About the Role

This full-time position involves designing, developing, and executing automated testing strategies to ensure high-quality software products. As an Automation Tester Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining test frameworks, integrating automated test scripts with test management tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive automation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automation Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive automation planning and scripting strategies to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
  • Test Framework Development: Design and develop reusable test frameworks for UI and API testing, prioritizing reusability and maintainability of test scripts.
  • Test Script Integration: Manage the integration of automated test scripts with a test management tool to facilitate efficient test management and reporting.
  • Problem Solving and Collaboration: Analyze and solve complex problems, collaborate with team members to produce creative solutions, and work closely with different teams and stakeholders to drive automation initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of Java core concepts, experience with API and mobile applications testing, and proficiency in Junit/BDD/Selenium framework. Additionally, you should be familiar with Agile development methodologies and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
