Occupational Therapist Role in a School Setting

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a school setting near Hendersonville, NC.
This is a contract position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives.
About the PositionAs an Occupational Therapist, you will work with students of various ages, from K-12th grade, providing individualized therapy sessions and developing personalized plans to promote their independence and participation in daily activities.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's level degree in Occupational Therapy and be licensed or pending licensure approved by the State Board of Occupational Therapy.
A minimum of 1+ years of occupational therapy experience is required, with school experience preferred but not necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with varying abilities and needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, including assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff to ensure understanding and success.
