Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Technician to join our team in providing high-quality outpatient behavioral health services.

As a Mental Health Technician, you will be responsible for assisting licensed providers with patient care and conducting intake interviews.

You will also be involved in maintaining accurate records and compiling statistical data.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intakes and assist with the care and treatment of psychiatric, drug, and alcohol patients
  • Counsel clients/patients with personal, behavioral, or psychological problems
  • Lead prescribed individual or group therapy sessions as part of specific therapeutic procedures
  • Prepare daily correspondence, including training agendas, meeting agendas, purchase orders, and clinical appointments
  • Compile and maintain monthly statistical data assigned work place

Requirements

  • An associate degree or commensurate level of training
  • No less than 3 years' experience as a psychiatric technician
  • Maintenance of current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) by the American Heart Association
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance or Top Secret Clearance
