Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Fast Tire Total Auto Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting vehicle diagnostics and performing routine vehicle repair and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough vehicle inspections to identify required repairs and recommend necessary services.
  • Consistently complete our Courtesy Inspection process, documenting and communicating additional needed services and repairs to our guests.
  • Assist in inventory management, including pulling tires and parts, unloading and stocking inventory.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to our high standards for cleanliness and guest readiness.
  • Perform services in accordance with our safety standards, including but not limited to, wheel torque, oil safety, and compliance procedures.
  • Test drive vehicles in accordance with our Road Test policy, utilizing our dedicated test drive routes while maintaining all local traffic and safety laws.
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, governmental standards, and environmental codes.
  • Maintain technical knowledge and capabilities through the timely completion of required training courses and modules.
  • Operate and maintain all equipment in a safe manner, adhering to manufacturer guidelines.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of automotive technician experience.
  • Efficient diagnostic skills in all aspects of engine repair and electrical systems.
  • Self-motivated and guest-focused mindset.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift 50 pounds.
