Position Overview: Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Therapist is tasked with delivering respiratory care services in alignment with the operational standards and mission of University Hospitals. Responsibilities encompass mechanical ventilation, aerosol therapy with medications, airway clearance techniques, patient assessment, oxygen therapy, and specialized procedures. Candidates must possess at least an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy and hold a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential, along with a valid license to practice in Ohio. Preferred qualifications include a minimum of one year of relevant experience, prior hospital work, and membership in the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).

Work Schedule: The position involves 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with the requirement of rotating weekends and holidays.

Incentives: A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available for full-time employees working 35 hours or more, disbursed over the first year based on performance metrics.
