We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team at the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center in Houston, TX. As a Radiation Oncology Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing compassionate care and expertise to patients undergoing radiation therapy.
Responsibilities- Assess, formulate, and implement nursing diagnoses and goals for patients undergoing radiation therapy.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on radiation therapy and related topics.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Preferred: Oncology experience.
We offer a competitive salary range of $32.08 - $46.51 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
