Position Overview:

As a Licensed Speech Therapist Contractor, you will assess patients' speech and language capabilities, identifying both challenges and strengths, while conducting regular evaluations.

You will design and implement rehabilitative services tailored to address speech and language disorders, and meticulously document patient progress and responses to treatment on a daily basis.

Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to other healthcare professionals and family members, equipping them with strategies to assist patients in enhancing, correcting, and accepting their disabilities.

Qualifications:

Candidates must hold a valid license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of New York. A master's degree is required, along with a minimum of one (1) year of supervised professional experience.

Supervisors in this role should possess at least three (3) years of clinical experience. Membership in the American Speech and Hearing Association and certification from the association are also required. The ability to demonstrate initiative and independent judgment is essential.
