Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our team to conduct geographical exploration, reviewing maps and drilling logs to determine location, size, accessibility, and estimated volumes of deposits.
- Assist in determining long-range planning designs and data, utilizing industry-leading software and tools.
- Identify and respond to safety hazards, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Operate sUAV for mine planning, topography mapping, and stripping calculations, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance processes, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and safety.
- Work closely with operations personnel to learn operational planning and aggregate objectives, gaining a deep understanding of our company's operations.
- Shadow experienced crew members and managers to develop skills in blasting operations and other aspects of mine engineering.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college degree program related to the industry, with a minimum GPA of 2.75 or better.
- Pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
- Hold a valid driver's license that meets state requirements.
- Obtain MSHA New Miner Training and FAA Part 107 Certification for sUAV Operator.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exhibit high ethical standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to utilize the internet effectively for research and evaluation.
