Position Overview:
The Parts Support Specialist II plays a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction by providing assistance with inquiries and order processing. This position involves engaging with customers through various communication channels to ensure a seamless experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring a positive and informative interaction.
- Process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Facilitate internal transfer requests as needed.
- Assist in the creation of shipping documents for freight orders.
- Handle daily invoicing for customer transactions.
- Manage the return process by generating Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) for restocking.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills, particularly over the phone.
- Strong interpersonal abilities, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy.
- Excellent command of grammar, voice, and diction.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information effectively.
- Self-driven with a keen awareness of time management.
- Capability to operate forklifts and overhead hoists safely.
- Physical stamina to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in computer applications such as Word and Excel.
- Must successfully pass drug and background screenings.
- In-depth knowledge of Toro products.
- Experience in customer service roles.
- One or more years of shipping experience.
- One to three years of relevant work experience.
