We are seeking a highly skilled Concrete Superintendent to join our team at McCarthy Improvement in Effingham, IL. As a key member of our slip form paving operations, you will be responsible for overseeing daily onsite work, managing records, and ensuring the safety of our team and clients.

• Manage and coordinate slip form paving operations, including paver setup and 3D stringless knowledge.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of concrete work, including flatwork and formwork.
• Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project completion and troubleshooting.

• 5+ years of experience in concrete slip form paving operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and geotechnical information.
• Experience working with local unions and a team player mentality.
• Ability to travel within a 2-hour radius and work in multiple environments.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
