About the Opportunity
Community Options is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. We are seeking a caring and compassionate Host Home Provider to open their home to an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities.
This independently contracted position will provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual, ensuring their basic physical and emotional needs are met. As a Host Home Provider, you will establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support.
Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license
- Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required
- You must be willing to successfully complete trainings through Community Options
- Supervisory visits in your home may be necessary
In exchange for your dedication and care, our Host Home Providers receive a per-diem rate PLUS monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax exempt. Our ideal candidate is someone who is available to provide a safe and comfortable home in the Lubbock, TX area.
About Compensation
The estimated salary for this position is $25,000 - $35,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
