Job Title: Heavy Equipment CDL Driver

EquipmentShare is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment CDL Driver to join our team at our rental facility in Charleston, WV. As a Heavy Equipment CDL Driver, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair services for a variety of customer and company-owned heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate vehicles according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
  • Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted
  • Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork
  • Facilitate routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air
Requirements:
  • Must hold a commercial drivers license or chauffeur's license, depending on state, appropriate for the weight of the vehicle to be operated
  • Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations
  • Must pass a DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs
