We are seeking a skilled Transport EMT to join our team at Grand Strand Medical Center. As a Transport EMT, you will play a critical role in providing safe and effective treatment and transport of patients on our ambulance team.
Key Responsibilities- Operate on the HCA Grand Strand Health EMS Transport Services' Team, assisting Paramedics in rendering treatment and transport of patients.
- Respond to EMS Call-Center requests, coordinate with other healthcare providers, and facilitate transport as needed.
- Function within HCA owned facilities, providing quality care to patients under the direction of a Paramedic or RN.
- South Carolina EMT licensure required.
- Driving record must be free of excessive points, with no indication of unsafe driving habits.
- Pre-hospital emergency services experience preferred.
- Cardiac monitoring and EVOC-Emergency Vehicle Operations Course completion certificate required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
