Job Overview

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing patients for MRI examinations, including explaining procedures and answering questions.
  • Operating MRI equipment to capture clear images, adjusting settings as needed to optimize results.
  • Communicating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient information, examination results, and equipment usage.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current Virginia State license and ARRT registration.
  • Preferred: One year of experience as an MRI or CT technologist and certification by the ARRT in MRI.
