About the UnitOur ICU is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, including those requiring ECMO, TAVR, Impella, and CABG procedures. Our team is known for their exceptional skills, expertise, and dedication to delivering patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patients' vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to ensure timely interventions.
- Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 1 year of employment start date.
