Optometric Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Optometric Technician to join our team at Lisa V Davis OD. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a willingness to learn and grow with our practice.

In this role, you will work closely with our optometrist to provide top-notch patient care by gathering patient information, conducting preliminary testing, and performing diagnostic testing. Your primary goal will be to ensure patients receive the highest level of care possible.

Responsibilities:

• Gathering patient information and documenting ocular and medical histories
• Conducting preliminary testing, including visual acuity, autorefraction, IOP, color vision, and fundus photos
• Performing diagnostic testing, such as automated perimetry, OCT, optical biometry, ophthalmic photography, corneal topography, and keratometry
• Assisting with initial patient examinations and ophthalmic testing procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and adhering to safety protocols

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant Certification desired but not mandatory
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
• Data entry and typing skills

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
