Key Responsibilities
  • Loss Prevention Initiatives: Develop and implement strategies to prevent and detect shoplifting, employee theft, and other forms of loss.
  • Training and Compliance: Train store employees on loss prevention policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Incident Reporting: Prepare and submit incident reports, accident reports, and investigative reports as required.
  • Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into suspected loss and theft incidents, and provide recommendations for prevention and mitigation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with management and other departments to identify and address loss prevention opportunities and concerns.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives to improve loss prevention and asset protection.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to physically apprehend and assist in the detention of shoplifters as required.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of computer applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Work Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of retail loss prevention experience preferred.
