About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and provide care in accordance with the Texas Nursing Practice Act regulations.
  • Participate in care planning, intervention, and evaluation with a focus on precision, vigilance, and patient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments using clinical reasoning and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse to create care plans and set goals.
  • Facilitate education for patients, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Nursing field of study
  • Less than a year of experience in a similar role
  • Vocational Nursing Practitioner's License
  • Basic Life Support certification (acquirable within the first 30 days)
