Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a Medical Surgical setting. As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including pneumonia, dialysis, and end-of-life care.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve lung function and overall health.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and bronchodilators.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and transitions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in respiratory care.
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
- Experience working in a Medical Surgical setting, preferably in a travel or per diem capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
