We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced RN to join our team as a Travel Nurse RN Electrophysiology Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrophysiology and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and an active state Registered Nursing (RN) License. They will also have current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current. Additionally, they will have at least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area.
The Travel Nurse RN Electrophysiology Specialist will be responsible for providing direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. They will address the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. They will communicate with physicians continuously and as needed about patient condition. They will assist with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. They will assess procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness. They will obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met.
The Travel Nurse RN Electrophysiology Specialist will also be responsible for monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. They will monitor and record patients' condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab. They will participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
