We are looking for a highly skilled Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at LIFE ANEW BEHAVIORAL HEALTH INC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing critical support to individuals and groups struggling with behavioral health issues.
Key Responsibilities- You will counsel and advise individuals or groups with behavioral health issues, helping them develop coping strategies and achieve positive outcomes.
- Developing and implementing individual treatment plans that set clear goals and milestones will be an essential part of your role.
- A significant aspect of this position involves preparing detailed progress reports and letters for relevant parties.
- You will educate families and groups on effective treatments and prevention programs, empowering them to make informed decisions about their well-being.
- Facilitating referrals to other healthcare or counseling professionals when necessary will also be a crucial responsibility.
- Prior experience in case management, social work, or related fields is essential for success in this role.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and the ability to complete Medicaid billable progress notes are also required.
- A valid license with fewer than four points, reliable transportation, and high school diploma or equivalent are also necessary qualifications.
- Ohio residency is mandatory.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $45,000-$60,000 annually, depending on location and experience.
