Licensed Practical Nurse/Medical Assistant

ResponsibilitiesThe Licensed Practical Nurse/Medical Assistant provides high-quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or other assigned supervisor. Key responsibilities include:
- Collecting data through observation and communicating information to assist in patient assessment and care planning
- Participating as a member of the healthcare team and accepting delegation from the RN/assigned supervisor and provider in meeting the needs of the patient/family
- Delivering care in accordance with the patient care plan, policies, and procedures of the organization and principles of relationship-based care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Graduation from a school of practical nursing or passing the LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program
- One year of LPN experience within the last five years preferred
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience working in a team environment
- Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred
