About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Support Specialist to join our team in supporting a Government Technical Services Project for the US DOE TRANSCOM Program. The successful candidate will provide operational support to the TRANSCOM Communications Center (TCC) in the development of a transportation program, T-STAR.

The Senior Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for managing scheduling for T-STAR 24/7, developing a program for training System Operators on T-STAR, and creating operating processes/desk guides for day-to-day monitoring and alert notification trees. Additionally, they will coordinate with software developers on modifications to help desk and ticket system support systems for T-STAR, and assist with preparing management reports to the Project Manager and DOE Client as required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or four years of experience performing logistical support work, administration, developing procedures and processes, and technical writing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
  • Microsoft office suite (emphasis on word and excel skills).
  • Understanding of basic project management practices.
