Mechanical/Piping Construction Manager
Bilfinger Industrial Services, Inc., a prominent provider of intricate and comprehensive industrial solutions, is currently seeking a Mechanical/Piping Construction Manager. This role demands a proactive individual to aid in the meticulous planning and scheduling of self-performed construction activities, prepare bid documents for subcontracting, and ensure that operations align with safety, budget, timeline, and quality objectives, as well as corporate and client standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze engineering documentation for feasibility and thoroughness.
- Consolidate various engineering documents and formulate execution plans and additional deliverables for field operations, supervision, and subcontractors.
- Maintain organized engineering documentation and drawing files.
- Generate labor and material estimates, conduct material takeoffs, and process requisitions.
- Coordinate crew schedules and monitor project progress.
- Engage directly with Owners, Engineers, and field supervisors.
Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical and piping planning is required.
- Familiarity with sanitary piping systems is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with effective time management and organizational abilities, are necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate knowledge of MS Project scheduling software.
- Preferred understanding of Lean Construction Principles.
- OSHA 10 or 30 Training is a plus.
