Imaging Specialist Opportunity at ChristianaCare

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Specialist to join our team at ChristianaCare. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and identify radiographs, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform clerical duties, including receptionist and scheduling responsibilities, as needed.
  • Assist with the training of radiology technology students and contribute to the development of new staff members.
  • Utilize and perform quality control on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems.
  • Operate various imaging equipment, including Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm.
  • Burn patient CDs and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as a staff technologist.
  • Completion of a two-year program in Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • Associates Degree in Radiology Science preferred.
  • ARRT Registered Technologist required.
  • Delaware license and certification in CPR.
  • Flexibility in hours and duties is essential.
