Coil Winding Specialist

Volt is seeking a skilled Coil Winding Specialist to join our team in East Granby, Connecticut. As a Coil Winding Specialist, you will be responsible for manufacturing optical fiber coils for use in gyroscopes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manufacture optical fiber coils using computer-controlled machines and equipment.
- Document the manufacturing process as required.
- Inspect parts and coils under a microscope.
- Perform basic fiber tests to coil packs.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience or practice executing delicate tasks with small, fragile parts.
- Optical fiber coiling or handling experience desired.
- Experience with inspection or working with precision under a microscope desired.
- Computer literacy, including data entry in Excel.
- Ability to see details at close range and excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
- Competitive pay rate: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour.
- Benefits package, including health, dental, vision, term life, short-term disability, AD&D, 401(k), sick time, and paid leaves.
