Mercy Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving nearly 16,000 low-income and at-risk individuals annually. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to the most vulnerable populations in our community.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care, education, and support to our pediatric patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric clinical care and a passion for working with underserved populations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting, including physical exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on health promotion, illness prevention, and disease management.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of pediatric nurse practitioner experience.
  • Pediatric clinical care experience preferred.
  • Current Georgia state registered nurse license and advanced registered nurse practitioner license with prescription authority.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred.
