Job Title: Adjunct Faculty, English for Speakers of Other Languages-Adult Education

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) courses at our Adult Education and Literacy grant program.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach ESL courses at various times, locations, and modalities
  • Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
  • Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner
  • Develop and submit a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
  • Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
  • Attend annual meetings, trainings, and orientations as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of work experience
  • Skills in project leadership, demonstrated ability and commitment to work collaboratively, familiarity with MS Office software, and demonstrated commitment to the mission of the comprehensive community college
