Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students' needs and educational goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on improving articulation, language, fluency, and voice.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom and daily routines.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support students' overall development.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Florida state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
