Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Mosaic Company. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance, both mechanical and electrical.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain underground face equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Service and perform preventive maintenance on underground face equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform essential tasks related to electrical resistance welding and oxy-acetylene cutting.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary technical education may be substituted for one year of experience.
  • At least two years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably underground mining operations.
  • Strong background in heavy equipment maintenance, both mechanical and electrical.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a mine environment, which may include exposure to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces.
