Therapeutic Radiology Specialist

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivers prescribed radiation doses utilizing specialized therapy apparatus.
- Accurately positions patients for effective treatment.
- Prepares essential equipment required for therapy sessions.
- Conducts safety inspections on machinery and reports any malfunctions.
- Collaborates with the therapy team and Radiation Oncologist to tailor treatment strategies for patients.
- Provides education and reassurance to patients and their families, addressing inquiries and offering support.
- Observes patients during treatment and communicates any reactions to the physician.
- Records treatment specifics in patient medical records.
- Conducts CT Simulations as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- RTT Board Certification is required.
- Must be licensed in the state of employment with ARRT certification.
- Preferred 1 year of experience in the field of Radiation Therapy.
- Must be physically capable of assisting and moving patients.
- Attention to detail is essential.
