Role Overview:

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing technical solutions to import and manage Customer Data within the Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) on Pega Cloud. This role requires expertise in designing and implementing DataFlow and ETL pipelines to enhance Pega Marketing system functionalities. The individual will tackle complex challenges, adopt a comprehensive approach to identify solutions, and collaborate with various functional teams while working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and manage Customer Data in Pega CDH on Pega Cloud, ensuring data quality and implementing necessary controls.
  • Migrate existing ETL processes for the Pega marketing PaaS solution to a Pega-managed cloud service.
  • Assess design options, enhance methodologies, and execute optimizations.
  • Document best practices related to data models, data loads, and query performance, ensuring adherence among team members.
  • Develop integration plans and collaborate with testing teams to incorporate these plans into the integration testing framework.
  • Create custom integration solutions based on business requirements.
  • Manage data archival processes.
  • Generate reports to provide insights into ETL execution metrics and status.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and security principles.
  • Analyze and validate data sharing needs with internal and external partners.
  • Engage with business leadership to comprehend data requirements and propose effective solutions to drive business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with banking and financial industry standards.
  • Proficient in ETL tools and techniques, with knowledge of CI/CD practices.
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Strong understanding of cloud environments, including configuration, load balancing, and monitoring.
  • Experience with various file processing techniques.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Service Operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Pega 8.x, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra.
  • Experience in creating automated data pipelines using Pega DataFlow and modern technology stacks.
  • Understanding of PRPC architecture and implementation.
  • Knowledge of Pega application packaging, security, and OOTB tools.
  • Demonstrated change management and communication skills.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members on Pega applications.

Desired:

  • Experience analyzing application log files and reports.
  • 5+ years in application support and incident management.
  • 5+ years supporting Pega applications.
  • Experience with Pega Cloud.
  • Pega Certified System/Senior System Architect.
  • Familiarity with all Pega products, including Robot Manager and Deployment Manager.
  • Strong debugging skills in PRPC.
  • Experience with PDC and server monitoring.
