Newborn Hearing Screen Specialist

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in the early detection of hearing loss in newborns.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct newborn hearing screens in hospital settings, providing accurate and timely results.
- Verify insurance information and document hearing screen results accurately.
- Enter patient data and validate hearing screens, ensuring compliance with hospital and company protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to confirm or reschedule outpatient appointments, as needed.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Computer proficiency and ability to perform accurate data entry.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and assignments, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays, as required.
