  • Mentorship and Guidance: Providing mentorship and guidance to students or new providers, helping them develop their clinical skills and professional behavior
  • Educational Support: Facilitating educational sessions, workshops or seminars to enhance the learning experience of the mentees
  • Performance Evaluation: Assessing the performance of students or new providers, providing constructive feedback and documenting their progress
  • Patient Care: Ensuring high-quality patient care is maintained while supervising and mentoring students or new providers
  • Collaboration: Working closely with academic institutions and other healthcare professionals to coordinate the educational activities and ensure a comprehensive learning experience

Requirements

  • Doctorate Degree (MD, DO)
  • Active/Valid license as a MD or DO in New York State, DEA, Board certification
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Experience in HIV care and MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse patient population in community health setting
