We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at UMass Memorial Health - Harrington. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound exams on patients, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications in breast imaging.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements
  • ARDMS certification in breast imaging and limited vascular imaging.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in breast imaging and limited vascular imaging.
  • Knowledge of ultrasound technology and its applications in diagnostic imaging.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
