Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing compassionate and patient-centered care to patients in the step-down unit
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitoring and assessing patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status
- Administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on post-intensive care recovery
- Communicating effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- A current RN license
- 2+ years of recent step-down experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
- BLS certification and other required certifications
