We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Processing Specialist to join our team at The American Legion. In this role, you will be responsible for the receipt, verification, and processing of membership and revenue enhancement responses, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Data Entry and Processing: Participate in data entry of control logs for production analysis and process documentation, ensuring accurate and timely processing of membership and revenue enhancement responses.
- Membership Preparation: Ensure membership is appropriately prepared for accurate and timely processing in accordance with internal deadlines, including National Target Dates.
- Revenue Enhancement Processing: Receive, sort, edit, and batch revenue enhancement responses, DMS responses, and Headquarters Post renewals to ensure timely processing of valid applications and appropriate handling of all others.
- Payment Processing: Process and deposit credit card payments using electronic credit card authorization software, verifying and ensuring accuracy of data, and preparing and distributing related reports.
- Training and Support: Assist in training of existing and new personnel on job procedures and operation of related equipment, and provide support to other functional areas of Data Services as needed.
- Research and Response: Research and respond to inquiries or problems relating to various programs, and assist other areas of Data Services as needed during peak operations or in the absence of support personnel.
To be successful in this role, you will require a working knowledge of practices and procedures of a given vocation or trade, the ability to read operating instructions or directions, and use all common tools and materials.
