About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at Community Health System. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and prepare instruments, equipment, medications, and supplies for each case, adhering to doctors' preference cards.
  • Establish and maintain a sterile field and surgical aseptic technique.
  • Assist in transporting and preparing patients for surgical procedures, including shaving, positioning, and draping.
  • Perform first scrub functions and procedures in the majority of surgical procedures performed at the facility.
  • Assist the surgeon and surgical team by passing instruments, sutures, medications, and/or supplies as appropriate.
