As an ISSO, you will play a key role in supporting our clients across various projects related to cybersecurity and information assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Authorization and Accreditation: Support the management and administration of authorization and accreditation processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Cybersecurity Assessments: Participate in assessments of systems, networks, and data security to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • IA Standards and Procedures: Enforce IA standards and procedures throughout the hardware and software lifecycle to ensure the security of our clients' information.
  • IT/IA Tasks and Requests: Assist in IT/IA tasks and requests for our clients, providing timely and effective support to ensure the smooth operation of their systems.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Develop relationships with stakeholders to ensure proper communication and deployment of IA technologies, ensuring that our clients' needs are met.
  • Briefing Materials and Program Meetings: Prepare briefing materials and support various program meetings and events, providing expert advice and guidance to our clients.
Requirements
  • Active Secret Clearance: Possess an active Secret Clearance and be eligible for a higher clearance level.
  • Bachelor's Degree: Hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, cybersecurity, or information assurance.
  • DoDI 8570 IAM Level II Certification: Possess a DoDI 8570 IAM Level II certification, such as CASP, CAP, or CISSP/Associates.
Desired Qualifications
  • Organizational Headquarters Experience: Have experience working in an organizational headquarters setting, with a strong understanding of IT and IA processes.
  • Army IT and IA Processes: Have a strong understanding of the Army's IT and IA processes, with experience adapting IA requirements to non-standard projects.
  • IA Concepts and Rapid Development: Have a strong understanding of IA concepts and their application to rapid development projects, with experience applying IA requirements to non-standard projects.
  • eMASS Solutions: Have experience with eMASS solutions, including security vulnerability and scanning tools.
