Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a representative of the Dairy Queen brand, maintaining professionalism in all aspects of your role.
  • Warmly greet and welcome customers to the Dairy Queen experience.
  • Aim to surpass customer expectations by delivering prompt and quality service.
  • Support the management of designated areas within the restaurant during your shifts.
  • Guide the team towards high performance by recognizing the significance of service speed and addressing workflow challenges.
  • Assist the General Manager and Assistant Managers in training and mentoring team members to cultivate a skilled and efficient workforce.
  • Ensure the restaurant is well-organized and adequately staffed.
  • Foster a positive, safe, clean, and inviting atmosphere for both customers and team members.
  • Address customer concerns calmly and adhere to Dairy Queen's service recovery standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with management and team members to maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Set a performance standard for all team members and workstations.
  • Consistently exhibit a genuine passion for excellence in service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a high-volume quick-service restaurant is required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • Ability to supervise specific areas of the restaurant in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong understanding and application of safe food handling practices.
  • Must be eligible for ServSafe certification.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining a positive demeanor.
  • Must be comfortable standing for the duration of the shift and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Exhibit good manners, personal hygiene, and punctuality.
  • Maintain a fun and positive attitude at all times.
