Rochester Mazda Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Rochester Mazda. As a key member of our service department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of vehicle maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needed.
  • Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs and execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
  • ASE certifications are ideal, but not required.
  • Strong automotive background and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Must have a clean and valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
