Job Summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to administer routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and company policy. The Medication Technician will provide care to residents, including personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, social-recreational activities, meal services, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Administer routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and company policy
  • Provide care to residents, including personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, social-recreational activities, meal services, and other duties as assigned
  • Collaborate with the nursing department, other departments, medical professionals, consultants, residents, and families to provide efficient and economic care
  • Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident care

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Medication Technician or Assistant
  • Experience in a long-term care or assisted living environment
  • Maintain CPR/First Aid certification
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work varying hours and weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
