**Job Title:** Direct Support Professional: Waldorf

**Job Summary:** Bay Community Support Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Direct Support Professional to provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities in Waldorf. The ideal candidate will promote independence and well-being, while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

**Responsibilities:**

• Assist residents with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Accompany and support individuals during community outings and appointments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of individual progress and any incidents in accordance with organizational guidelines.
• Create a safe and supportive environment that encourages personal growth and development.

**Qualifications:**

• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Compassion, patience, and empathy towards residents.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance.
• Must attend all required trainings and certifications.

**Schedule:** Saturday from 8am to 2pm and Sunday from 8am to 10pm. Hourly rate of $21, with a $2 weekend differential. Additional hours may be available based on facility needs.
